Can You Help? :: Operation: Knowledge Transfer 2.0(19)

Welcome to Operation: Knowledge Transfer 2.0(19). Many of you will know me already from my online presence across Twitter & YouTube however if you’ve not come across me before, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kelvin, I am from the United Kingdom and work as a Security Consulting Engineer for Cisco Systems. I hold a BSc (Hons) Computer Networks and Systems Support along with a multitude of certifications.

The intention of my work is to educate, inspire, motivate and mentor those that have an interest in Information Technology and I also want to share what I have learnt and experienced in the field as a Consultant/Engineer.

For the past few years, I’ve been on a very simple mission to give back and these have been the objectives: –

  • Provide free IT training –
  • Share my IT experience in the field
  • Create and share labs enabling those that don’t have access to specific hardware/software the ability to still learn and prep for certifications or job opportunities

The content I’ve put out to date has changed peoples lives (literally) by enabling them to secure new roles, pass certifications and find out more about the IT industry, particularly Cisco. With 2019 just around the corner I would like to carry on with this mission but I’d also like to deliver more advanced content and focus on more real-life deployment scenarios.

To do this I require a new server that will give me the ability to run bigger, better and more sophisticated networks. So I ask a hand to those that believe in my mission and would like to help make 2019 an even better learning experience for the IT community, in particular, the awesome #LabEveryday community by helping towards the cost of a new server.

I thank you in advanced and I leave you with the link to the GoFundMe page:
